Hi.
I was looking at some images of Metaza engraved products on your Flickr site.
There is one of a hip flask engraved with signatures, like as a leaving gift for an employee.
I am quiet new to the Metaza engraving and own a MPX-80.
How do I do this?
Thanks

Answer:
Good question! We will provide a video on how to do this soon. ...but in the mean-time: The signature is an image that you would have scanned in to appear on your screen as a .jpg/.bmp. You would then 'import' the image as normal before 'right-clicking' on the image and choosing 'image outline' from the menu. A new box should now appear allowing you to click the 'extract image outline' button. You should now see that the 'vector lines' have been extracted from the image and are shown as solid blue lines. Printing this will now give you the solid vector line engravings for signatures which appear much more prominent than conventional dot engraving. This method engraves at up to 1058dpi. |

i can think of 2 ways to do this:-
